Kopitiam Panic drops you behind the counter of a Singapore kopitiam at rush hour. Customers arrive shouting Singlish coffee orders. You have 60 seconds, a patience bar per customer, and no help.
The kopi dictionary
If you’ve never ordered at a kopitiam: every order is a stack of modifiers. The base is kopi (coffee), teh (tea), or milo (chocolate). Add kosong (no sugar), siew dai (less sweet), or gah dai (extra sweet). Add O (no milk) or C (evaporated milk). Add peng (iced). Chain them together. “Kopi-o-kosong-peng” = coffee, no milk, no sugar, iced.
How to play
- Tap the correct sequence of ingredient buttons
- Hit SERVE to deliver
- Fast and correct = bonus points
- Wrong order = angry customer, minus points
- Customer leaves if patience runs out
Tip
The glossary button is always one tap away. Use it. You will not remember what “C” means under pressure. Nobody does.
